Do your Federal taxes FREE!
As you know tax season is themselves already here, and many of us pay accountants to do our taxes for us. Although many do their taxes themselves. I recently did my taxes myself, i used TurboTax. It’s absolutely free to do your federal taxes using the basic free edition. It’s also extremely easy, all you do is fill in some personal info then complete the federal tax form. After you complete it, it’s checked for errors and then you can efile it. Efiling is easier than sending the form by mail and it’s faster as well. But what about State taxes? Well, you can also efile your state taxes but Turbotax along with any other program that does your taxes charges a fee. The great thing about Turbotax is you can choose to have them charge the amount requested from your refund, although i think it’s better to use your credit or Debit card as you know there won’t be any misunderstandings. Turbotax charges 29.95 for State taxes but i think that this price is more reasonable than what accountants charge. They also reduce the amount it takes us to fill out the forms and send them through traditional mail.
