Ways to survive the economic crisis or loss of job! The techno way!
Have you lost your job recently or simply find yourself in need of money? Well here are some ways to change that! and hopefully get you back on the track!
1.Ditch Cable- Don’t worry this will be temporary, why pay $50 or more dollars a month for shows you can get online? There are various websites that provide shows for free. Youtube, Hulu and even the actual Network like NBC’s website has shows like Law&Order or Heroes. History channel, National Geographic and also Cartoon Network if you have little kids. Heck, why don’t you just wait for DTV? it’s only in a few days for most networks although some might wait until the new date.
2.Stop Netflix- Did you know Netflix is doing great in this economy? If you trade your membership for a library card you can check out movies for free! Also, you can watch newly release movies for free if you visit watch-movies.net!
3.Stop eBay- Why pay for something overpriced just because you got outbid?
4.Xbox live must die!- Well, actually no. I have to say it the coolest thing ever made! Thanks Microsoft for providing us with entertainment and draining our pockets! If your teen thinks this is too much, and say things like “Were not poor!” or “Your cheap!” perhaps it’s time they get a job!? I’m a teen so i can say all this!
5.Downloading from iTunes- Forget it, go to Pandora or Last.fm, free streaming!
6.Inkjet printing- Get a refill kit, you will pay almost a dollar per cartridge compared to $40 dollars if you buy them already refilled.
7.Get off Facebook- Instead of trying to network focus on finding a job, try snagajob.com
8.Cell phones- Unplug your unused cell phone charger
9.Avoid the news- Try to stay away from industry news as they will only make you feel, more stressed and not what you need to start a day!
10. Remember, stay calm and know that it will be over soon!
Tomorrow’s post is on a new way to deal with antibiotic resistant bacteria.
