If you have been watching the news, you know that a Koala was rescued by a firefighter in Australia. That Koala has been named Sam, personally i did not want it named because it would probably be a stupid name like “Marty” or something that is not cute. I like the name “Sam” it sort of fits the cute Koala, so am ok with that :). However, i wanted to share with all of you, in case you haven’t read this somewhere “TMZ” as in the show and website based on making fun of celebrities made fun of Sam and possibly the firefighter (not sure about that) by saying Sam and the firefighter who rescued her went to lunch somewhere to eat seafood after sharing a drink or something along those lines (very cheesy if you ask me) and guess what? they got a ton of complaints and comments that made them apologize. I think they deserved it, i mean making fun of celebs is one thing but INJURED KOALAS!!! Who does that?!! Anyway, i bet Sam would accept the apology (and possibly the firefighter, who knows!). Did i mention she has a Facebook?

Today, I was surfing the web and found this site that let’s you text form your PC to anywhere in the U.S. It’s called Cherple (http://www.cherple.com/index.asp) This is how it works, you download the software (FREE) then you set it up and it’s ready for you to start texting. It’s almost like chatting except it’s text messages now. Rates still apply to the one who receives the texts although, they may have unlimited texts, then they get no phone charges. Very cool, all you need is an internet connection!
