The thinkable has happened!

Published by psynopsis at 8:26 pm under Techno News Edit This

The Cable operators have finally realized the internet is taking their money. Many of us use the internet to watch shows, we would otherwise have to pay cable companies to watch. You can find tons of Software and websites offering free episodes of any show you would like to see. I was waiting to see how long it would take the companies to realize this, and surprisingly it took longer than I thought.

The economy as well as the DTV transition, has already taken a toll on the Cable companies. They have lost thousands of subscribers, and now with TV freely available online, they are expecting thousands more. One plan is to allow only paying subscribers watch shows online. Another, plan is to get rid of shows online, this is their plan B they will consider ways to do this and still keep everyone’s business intact. This really upsets me, why do they have to mess with this, they should just accept the fact that they are no longer needed. There are still a lot of people who have no internet access, the cable companies can still benefit from that!
