Published by psynopsis at 6:36 pm under Techological Ideas, free stuff Edit This

So, have you seen the current commercials by Apple? Have you realized that they are focused on the apps instead of the phone now? Apparently, they have seen how the apps attract more customers than the actual phone. I personally got intrigued at how many things can be done with those apps. So, I went to get more info on each one, to see what kinds of amazing things each one does. That’s why I compiled a description of each one, well a few.
Note: Not all are free and not all for sale, which means they are free.

1.Locavore- If you’re into eating local as in buying produce from farmers markets and eating locally grown fruits and vegetables. This app is for you, it detects what State your in, then the food that’s in season. As well as farmer markets nearby, food that is near it’s season and links to Wikipedia’s articles on the fruits or vegetables. Note: This app is currently available on to the USA. This is a paid app.

2. Go! Manga- This app lets you read manga anywhere you go! As long as you have Wi-fi of course. Works like a book, you f”flip” the pages by tapping the screen. Soon to be available offline. Currently free.

3.The Holy Bible King James Version- Religious? Here is a easily portable bible. You can take it anywhere and supper easy to read, well to techies anyway. This currently is a paid version, but the free version is available in the app store as well.

4. iPhactory- Okay, this app at first makes you wonder why you would need it, but if you like to conserve the environment you will understand. The app let’s you virtually grow a tree. You dig a hole plant a seed, create storms and let some sun in then watch it grow. You can then share the growth with others by email. Paid app

5. PetMD (Cat First Aid)- Of all the apps in the store this one particular app caught my attention in a heartbeat. It provides you with all kinds of emergencies your cat may have. From poisoning to heart attacks, you are given a solution to whatever can happen. Created by PetMD, and approved by vets. If you love your cat I would recommend downloading it, or simply run around in panic if something happens. By the way the app shows you how to use CPR.

6.Radiation Passport- If you feel you been exposed to radiation this app will tell you if you are in danger. Of course it doesn’t actually show measure the radiation, you have to input data. For example, the time you spent in taking x-rays, how many you have had throughout your life and etc. It gives you the cancer risks too. Paid app.

7.Dream Psychology- This app is based on the book. Anything you want to know about the meaning of dreams.

8. 3D Gallery- Walk through an art gallery virtually on your ipod or iphone. Add in some of your own pictures as well.

9.Ocarina- Turns your ipod or phone into a flute. Yes, a flute! You play it by placing your figers on the screen and blowing at an angle. You have never seen a high tech flute like this one! Top 20 apps in the iTunes store.

10.Now Hiring- If you need a job, check for any available in your area in minutes. Just type in the location and what type of job you want. You can easily email opportunities to yourself as well as filter results. Paid app
