Digg toolbar is worth crap! It steals your Google PageRank
If you use Digg to promote your website, blog or simply use it to easily view content across the web, don’t use it. There’s a small “problem” with it. Actually it’s not a problem, I would say it’s a rather convenient feature for Digg. Okay, enough rambling here is what’s going on.
The toolbar was created with the intent of promoting content from Digg. The thing is, when you click on a link on the Digg toolbar. It gives your traffic to Digg, and thus steals your google PageRank. So, any traffic generated through the toolbar will be counted as traffic for Digg, instead or your website or blog. Then after all that, it places it’s own ads on top of the ones found on the website you are on. It really is a great “scam” except you can’t do anything about it because it’s perfectly legal. It’s great for Digg but not for other website.

After, some complains Digg is thinking about editing the toolbar, but most likely it will just change it up a bit. Probably, just to confuse everyone for a while.
